Lenovo ThinkPad G50 Notebook

Lenovo, the third biggest PC supplier in the United States, announced their new high-end notebook, ThinkPad G50. It will be available soon through the Lenovo website with the estimated price of USD1,783. The notebook features a 15 Inch TFT LCD with the resolutions of 1400 x 1050. It is powered by Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz processor, a Mobile Intel 945GM Express chipset, 512MB DDR SDRAM with 2GB maximum, floppy disk drive, 100GB SATA HDD, and DVD Super-multi drive. G50 has also the built-in IEEE 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN, Ethernet LAN port, and four USB 2.0 ports at the side of the notebook. Lenovo boasts that its battery has up to 2.5 hours of system operation. It measures 329 mm x 283 mm x 37 mm and weights 260 grams.

The Prime A Note Ares TX is Dospara’s latest multimedia notebook which is powered by an AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-50 (1.6GHz) CPU, 512MB DDR2 memory, 80GB SATA HDD, a ±R DL Super Multi DVD drive, and 14.1 Inch 1280 x 800 WXGA display. It measures 338 mm x 249 mm x 36mm. Features include four USB 2.0 ports, 802.11 a/b/g WLAN, and S-Video out. The notebook will be available on July 23rd in Japan with a suggestion prices at $1,059.

HP Pavilion DV9000 Notebook

HP has released another new notebook, the HP Pavilion DV9000 which is powered by a Mobile AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core processor. The notebook features a 17 Inch WXGA+ TFT LCD with resolutions of 1440 x 900 and an optional of WXGA+ Ultra BrightView or WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) BrightView display, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics card with 256MB dedicated DDR2 VRAM, dual hard disk drive with combined capacity up to 240GB and an integrated wireless support for 802.11a/b/g Wireless LAN as well as Bluetooth technology. Moreover, this 7.8 lbs notebook also has a built-in 5-in-1 digital media card reader, four USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard 54 slot and integrated Altec Lansing stereo speakers. There is no news in pricing and availability.
