The ASUS V1JP is designed for both work and play. It is powered by a 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 512MB of ATI Mobility Radeon X1700 video graphics, 120GB SATA HDD, 8x DVD Super-Multi drive, and a super-bright 15.4-inch WSXGA+ display. Overall it is a pleasure to be one of the first to own the ASUS V1JP in North America. This laptop has a lot to offer in terms of performance, quality, features and decent battery life. I would recommend this laptop to business users looking for performance, graphic designing, security features, flexibility and a docking station. This laptop is my first laptop, and it is a pleasure to own the ASUS V1JP.

Dell International unveiled their Blu-ray notebook PC in Korea market. Dubbed as the XPS M1710, the laptop is priced at around $3,800 and features 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo processor T7600 (667MHz FSB/4MB L2 cache), 512MB dual channel 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory, 80GB 5400RPM SATA HDD, and 9-cell batteries. On the inside, this sleek laptop boasts 17-inch WSXGA+ display, and powered by a 1.66-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 CPU, 1GB of DDR2 memory, an integrated 2.0MP webcam, 100GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics, and a DVD Super-Multi drive. Its external interface includes four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, HDMI, a 3-in-1 memory card reader, and 802.11b/g WLAN. The laptop goes on sale today in Japan with the price tag of $1,622.
