The New LG PS-S720K Notebook

Priced at around $2,700 in Korea, the LG PS-S720K notebook features a Core 2 Duo T7200, a 15.4 inch display (1680×1050), an ATI Mobility Radeon X1700, 1GB of RAM, a 5400rpm 160GB SATA HDD, a Multi DVD burner, Vista Home Premium, SRS WOW, and 5.1 HD (24bit) sound quality. The notebook measures 357mm x 260mm x 38mm and weights 2.8Kg.

Fujitsu has released the LED-based ultra portable notebook. Dubbed as the P7230, the notebook comes in black and white colors and weights only 2.9 pounds. Other Features includes a 10.6 inch LCD widescreen, an up to 2GB RAM, Intel’s energy-efficient Core Solo U1400 processor, a memory card slot, and a shock-mounted hard drive. The price tag starts from $1,699 upwards depending on the configuration.

OQO Model 02 with Verizon’s EV-DO Connectivity

OQO, the UMPC maker, is now offering the model 02 UMPC with an integrated EV-DO Wireless WAN capability compatible with the Verizon Wireless BroadbandAccess service. This OQO Model 02 UMPC is claimed to be “the world’s smallest fully-functional PC”. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz VIA’s C7M ultra-low voltage processor, 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM, and shock-mounted 60GB hard drive. It also has a backlit keyboard and TouchScrollers and supports dual external displays at up to 1920 x 1200 pixels through digital (HDMI/DVI) and analog (VGA) video interfaces. The OQO model 02 with the pre-installed Windows Vista has a starting price of $1499.

In addition, its screen has a 1280 x 800 maximal resolution. Weighing 5.9lbs, the VA4101M also provides 802.11b/g wireless connection, Ethernet LAN, and a built-In 56k modem. Buy it now at WalMart!
