Hewlett Packard’s 510 laptops series are now available in the United States. The laptops come with 512MB of DDR2 memory and with 60GB 5400rpm hard drive. The cheaper Celeron model (RU961AA) incorporates combo drive, while the Pentium version (RX709AA) comes with DVD burner. Some HP 510 models are built upon Mobile Intel 915GM chipset, while others are based on 910GML chipset. Both chipsets provide Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 with up to 128MB of shared system memory. The retail price for Celeron 1.4GHz and Pentium 2.13GHz configurations are $565 and $699 respectively.

It is powered by an Intel ULV Core Duo 1.06 GHz (U2400) processor, 2GB RAM, 60GB hard drive and integrated dual-layer DVD burner. The 12.1 Inch display is a wide-aspect 1280×768 TFT. Other specs include Bluetooth 2.0, wireless 802.11 a/b/g, fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, microphone, ExpressCard/54, and camera which is great for Skype videoconferencing.
