Toshiba Japan introduced the Dynabook Satellite T30 in Japan. The business notebook is powered by 1.60Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 processor, Intel 945GM Express chipset, and comes with 80GB hard drive, 512MB RAM and DVD-Combo drive. The T30 sports 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x Firewire, Ethernet and audio slots. Unfortunately, it has not fingerprint reader, Bluetooth, and card reader. Measuring 362mm × 267.8mm × 39.3mm, the Toshiba Dynabook Satellite T30 retails for $1400 in Japan.

LG Electronics has unveiled the Z1 laptop which is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83GHz processor and sports 1GB RAM, a 120GB hard drive, ATI Mobility Radeon X1350 graphics card with 512MB memory, and a 12.1 inch TFT display with 1280 x 800 resolution. This 1.86Kg laptop has a 2.5 inch Sideshow display located on the cover complete with touch sensitive buttons for navigation purposes. Pre-loaded with Vista Business, the LG Z1 provides a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, 5-in1 car reader,and 5.1CH Dolby Digital. No word on pricing yet.

The New Apple MacBook packs with faster processors, more RAM, and bigger hard drives. The white base model runs at 2.0 GHz, and comes with an 80GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, and a DVD-ROM/CD-RW combo drive. The mid-range white model steps up to 2.16 GHz, a 120GB drive, 1GB of RAM, and an 8x SuperDrive. The high-end black model also runs at 2.16 GHz, a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, and also provides an 8x SuperDrive. In addition, these new version of MacBook features Apple’s award-winning iLife software suite. The pricing starts at just $1099.

HP Pavilion HDX series is the biggest notebook ever produced. The notebook offers Ultra BrightView, four Altec Lansing speakers plus a subwoofer, a dockable Media Center remote control and is capable of HD 1080p resolution. HP Pavilion HDX series requires the HDX adopted ATI Mobility Radeon X2600 512MB XT graphics, Intel Core2Duo Extreme processor, up to 400GB HDD and 4GB RAM. It will be released with the estimated price tag of $2,999.

The BenQ Joybook S41 laptop offers a 14.1-inch widescreen, up to 2GB RAM, and a 160GB hard drive. The laptop also provides Wireless a/b/g/n, an NVIDIA GeForce 8600M and a 1.3MP webcam. There is currently no word on the pricing.
