These brand new HP 2710p tablet PC ($1,649) and HP 2510p laptop ($1,549) come jam packed with a 12.1-inch LCD screen, 1.06 U7500 / 1.2GHz U7600 ultra low voltage processor, up to 2GB RAM, 100GB hard drive, Intel GMA X3100 graphics with 384MB memory, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The only major difference is that one is a tablet PC and the other is a laptop. Oh and the laptop comes with a dual layer DVD burner. They both ship with Windows Vista, not by choice I assume.

NotebookReview has reviewed the upcoming Asus Eee PC mini laptop. As a reminder, the laptop is using an Intel Dothan Pentium M processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB or 16GB flash drive and has a 7-inch LCD display, 3USB port and a SD card slot. The laptop is priced under $200. Fujitsu comes back with a new LifeBook laptop designed for office users. The lappie has an optional Point and Write touchpad that allows you to take short notes and draw on selected applications with ease. Other features include a 2.0GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60 processor, up to 4GB RAM, 120GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 graphics card with 256MB memory, 802.11a/b/g wireless, Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, and Windows Vista operating system. It is currently available for $1,149.

The 13.3-inch Toshiba Dynabook SS M40 incorporates Core 2 Duo T7100 or Celeron 540 processor, 512MB RAM (upgradeable to 4GB), max 120GB hard drive, DVD burner, WiFi, and Windows Vista operating system. It’s truly an ultra portable at 1.9Kg. The 15-inch Satellite J63 is based on Celeron M530 chip and features similar configuration. The Toshiba Dynabook SS M40 and J63 retail for $1,526 and $1,492 respectively.
