Haier showed off its new G70 laptop PC during KES 2007. This 17.1-inch Santa Rosa-based laptop is also known as the ‘Transformer’. It utilities Intel 965PM + ICH8M chipset and Nvidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX 256M DDR III, 2.5-inch SATA hard disk drive and 1.3MP webcam. Weighing 3.95kg, the G70 also sports 4GB expandable memory, fingerprint recognition and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Ruvo has unveiled its new Ultra Mobile PC which is similar to the Gigabyte U60. The gadget features a 1.2 GHz VIA C7-M processor and the VIA VX700 chipset. Sadly, there is no info on pricing or availability yet. Stay tuned for more news.

The Samsung SPH-9200 a.k.a. the Butterfly UMPC is based on the VIA Ultra Mobility Platform with a VIA C7-M processor, WiFi, WiBro, and HSDPA for connectivity. The gadget also features a folding keyboard that looks nice. Watch a video preview after the jump.

Sharp unveiled their new Mebius notebook PC in the Japanese market. The laptop comes with 1-Seg tuner, 1,280 x 800(WXGA) screen and UV coated body. This 14.1-inch laptop is available in two versions(PC-CW60V/CW50V), and they are available in end of October and November respectively. No word on pricing so far.
