Toshiba now has an alternative to notebook’s with the U305-S2804 for about $950. It comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5450, 1.67GHz, 160GB (5400 RPM) SATA HDD, and Intel WiFi a/b/g. But it’s predecessor, the U305-S2812 for 1,150. The question is which one is worth it to you if you’re on a budget?
The TabletKiosk eo i7300 is being reviewed for a sneak peek.It has a 7-inch display (1,024 x 600 resolution), which will also include an Intel Menlow processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 60GB hard drive, 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, a biometric fingerprint reader and a 4-cell battery.

Asus has announced the release of their notebook called the U2E. It features a 32GB SSD making it shock-resistant, a high-res webcam combined into the LCD and the ASUS SmartLogon software which uses face recognition security. No word on pricing yet.
