MSI will release the PR200 laptop in Germany and will be available in denim blue, coral pink and wasabi green. The YA200 series features Windows Vista Home Premium, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and the 12.1″ TFT WXGA display, WLAN 802.11n wireless networking, integrated fingerprint reader along with a 4-in-1 card reader, a DVD Super-multi drive, 1.3 megapixel webcam and HDMI output. The Inspiron 1526 is now available for $750 (after discount) at best buy. The 1526 Inspirion features a 15.4” display, 1280×800, AMD Turion 64 X2 (2Ghz), 2GB Memory, 250GB HDD, and ATI Radeon Express 1270 (integrated). [Link]

Dell has updated their XPS line with the M1730, now available with two of the fastest mobile graphics chips. It has a Core 2 Extreme X9000 mobile CPU running at 2.8GHz, a pair of GeForce 8800M GTX cards in SLI, and two 200GB 7200 RPM drives in RAID 0 configuration. The XPS M1730 is said to be the “fastest mobile CPU on the market”. Unfortunately the price is about $4,500 but it should be worth it.

Sony has announced that the VAIO TZ which features both an SSD and HDD, got bumped to 64GB of SSD and has a couple other features such as: 2GB of RAM, a Sprint EV-DO card, fingerprint sensor, and external dual-layer burner,a 11.1-inch XBRITE screen and 1.33GHz U7700 Core 2 Duo processor. Sony’s taking pre-orders now on sonystyle.com for delivery in March.
