MiTaC MiStation Netbook

MiTAC the company that owns Mio and Navman has recently launched netbooks at IFA in Berlin. The new model, called the MiStation, will feature 8.9″ screen and powered by 1.6Ghz Intel Atom processor. It will also come with 20GB SSD or 60GB hard drive, optional Windows XP or Linux and the usual array of connectivity options including wireless (b and g) and Bluetooth 2. Other tech specs include a 1.3 megapixel webcam, 3 USB 2.0 ports, an SD card slot, and VGA out. The model will be hitting Europe at the end of November and prices will start from £282 for the 60GB Linux version. The 20GB SSD model would cost around £400 a spokesperson for the company said. Here comes laptop that is not just looking green from the outside, but also on the inside and more, introducing Bamboo Series Notebook from ASUS. The company claims throughout every phase of the laptop’s life – from its conception, production and use to its eventual recycling and disposal, the bamboo-clad laptop is truly green. In developing the laptop, the company enforced its management to utilize tools that strictly adhered to the green principles. The Bamboo Series will come in both 12.1- and 11.1-inch variants, weighing 1.57kg and 1.25kg, respectively. Both will feature Intel Core 2 Duo processors, DDR2 RAM, and LED-backlit displays, with minor hardware differences for each. MSI Releases GX400 14” Gaming Notebook, With MSI exclusive Turbo Drive Engine Technology - enabling you to overclock your CPU while the system switch to Air Conditioned mode. It features Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, up to 4 GB of DDR2 RAM and up to 500 GB HDD, and Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT VGA. GX400 will also include optional DVD burner or Blu-Ray drive, webcam and HDMI output. On the look department, MSI applies Color Film Print technology for its surface, which has brighter color and is soothing to the touch and scratch and fingerprint proof, providing the best protection for the GX400. NEC’s Latest Touch Panel PC

NEC 12/15 PNC Tablet PC

NEC has just revealed its latest Tablet PC, The 12PNC-W2/B2 (12″) and 15PNC-W2/B2 (15″). Both will be powered by ATOM CPU Z530 @ 1.6GHz, with optional 512MB or 1GB of RAM, 80GB of HDD, and touchscreen LCD. It will also come with optional Windows XP or Vista Operating System.
