PCWorld.com has announced the leaked details of Alienware’s upcoming All Powerful M17X gaming laptop. This new gaming laptop is equipped with a 17-inch display with 1920 x 1200 resolution, a Core 2 Extreme quad-core CPU, a pair of 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M GPUs, an 8GB of 1333MHz DDR3 memory, an optional 1TB of 7200-rpm hard drive or 512GB SSD, FireWire, 4 USB ports, an eSATA port, an ExpressCard slot, 802.11n WiFi, a DisplayPort, an HDMI out, a dual layer Blu-ray, an 8-in-1 media card reader and a nine-cell battery. Sony VAIO VGN-P50 Ultra-compact Laptop

The Sony VAIO VGN-P50 will be released in Japan on June 6th, 2009. Measuring 245mm x 120mm x 19.8mm and weights at 626grams, this ultra-compact entry-level laptop boasts an 8-inch ultra wide LCD screen with a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1GB RAM, a 80GB HDD, and Intel’s US15W chipset. Other features include a couple of USB 2.0 slots, IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, multi-card reader and four hours of battery life. The Sony VAIO VGN-P50 will retails for approx. 85,000 Yen ($890). [AVING]

Asus Eee PC 1008HA, 1005HA, and T91 in Australia in July

Asus is ready to release three new netbooks in the Australian market in July 2009. All of hese netbooks are more expensive than in the US. The Eee PC T91 convertible touchscreen tablet will be available for about $999 Australian (US$780), meanwhile the Eee PC 1008HA “Seashell” will go for around $899 Australian (US$702). The price tag for the Eee PC 1005HA comes between $599 and $799 Australian (US$468 to US$624), depending on the configuration. [Portable Monkey]

ECS Will Introduce 3 New Netbooks During The Computex 2009

At this year’s Computex 2009, ECS will introduce 3 new netbooks in the form of the ECS T10IL, ECS V10IL and ECS T21IL. Though details remain scarce at the moment, but from what we heard, the ECS T10IL will feature a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel ATOM CPU, an optional 1.8-inch HDD or SSD storage, Bluetooth, WiFi and a modem 3.75G. Followed by the ECS V10IL that will have the same 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom CPU, a 2.5-inch 160GB HDD and an HSUPA modem.
