Spanish manufacturer Airis has recently released another cheap 10-inch netbook for the Spanish market called the Kira 700. What makes it more interesting is that you can pick up the netbook without an operating system installed for a base price of 299 Euros (about $438). As for the rest of the specs, you’ll get a 10.2-inch 1024 x 600 TFT display, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, an Intel GMA 950 graphics card, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 1.3MP webcam, a 4-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3 USB ports, a 4.5 hour battery and an optional Windows XP OS. Asus Eee PC 1001HA Now Official

Asus has finally posted an official product page on its Chinese portal that unveils the netbook’s specifications. Weighing at 2.4-pounds, the Eee PC 1001HA comes jam packed with a 10.1-inch LCD display, a 160GB hard drive, a 802.11n WiFi, and a 92% full sized keyboard. Webbook 10-inch Netbook With Optical Disc Drive

A company called Imore has recently introduced a 10-inch netbook called the Webbook that has a CD/DVD drive. There’s no mention of the operating system, but this netbook likely either runs Linux or an unofficial copy of Windows XP. Aside from the disc drive, the Webbook also features a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor with a 1GB of RAM, a 160Gb hard drive, 802.11/b/g/n WiFi, and a 1024 x 600 pixel LCD display. Other features include a couple USB ports, a flash card reader, and a VGA output. Measuring 10.2-inch x 7.6-inch x 1.2-inch, the Webbook comes equipped with a 2600mAh battery. [Shanzai]

HP has posted a leaked product page of its upcoming HP Pavilion dv8 entertainment notebook. Powered by the latest Intel Core i7-720QM 1.6GHz processor, this powerful machine is equipped with an 18.4-inch 1920 x 1080 Diagonal High Definition display, a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 230 graphics card, up to 8GB RAM, a 640GB hard drive, a Blu-ray drive, a TV tuner, a full size keyboard with integrated numeric keypad, Altec Lansing speakers with integrated subwoofer and with Dolby Home Theater sound technology, an integrated finger print reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, an 8-cell battery and Windows 7 OS. Verizon Releases Subsidized Gateway Netbook With 3G Service

Verizon is ready to launch the Gateway LT2016U is actually the Acer Aspire One D250 dressed up in Gateway clothing. The netbook features a 10.1-inch 1024 x 600 display with a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB 5400rpm hard disk drive, a VGA webcam, and Microsoft Windows XP Home. It also has a Qualcomm Gobi 3G module supporting both CDMA EVDO and EDGE/UMTS/HSPA 3G data. The Gateway LT2016U will be available for $249.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with 2-year contract.
