Samsung Series 7 Laptop Unveiled

Samsung has confirmed the availability of the Series 7 laptop. Powered by a 2.20GHz Intel Core i7 Sandy Bridge 2675QM processor, the notebook features an AMD Radeon HD 6750M graphics, a choice of a 14-inch or a 15.6-inch display with a 1600×900 resolution and a 300nit of brightness, up to 8GB of RAM, a 750GB of HDD at 7200rpm, and a silver aluminum casing. Russian-based company iRU is proud to announce their latest 14-inch notebook, the Patriot 404. Specs-wise, the system packs a 14-inch 1366 x 768 display, a 1GHz AMD Brazos C-50 APU processor, an AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics, a 2GB RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a 1.3MP webcam, a DVD writer, a multi-format card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, built-in stereo speakers, an HDMI port, a 6-hour battery and runs on either Windows 7 Starter or Ubuntu Linux OS. Acer has just announced the availability of their new MeeGo-based notebook in Germany via Priced at 399 Euro (about $579), the system offers a 15.6-inch display, a 2.10GHz Intel Core i3-2310M processor, an Intel GMA HD 300 graphics, a 4GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner, WiFi, a 6-cell battery and runs on MeeGo Linux operating system. LG has recently released a couple of new laptops in South Korea. Known as the 14-inch Aurora Xnote S430 and 15.6-inch Aurora Xnote S530, both laptops are designed for style conscious buyers. Based on the second generation Intel Core i3/i5 processor, these laptops feature a LED-backlit display, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a max 750GB hard disk drive, an AMD Radeon HD 6470M graphics card, and a DVD burner.
