Known as the Acer Aspire 8940, the laptop is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Core i7 720QM processor with an 18.4-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) widescreen display, a 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an nVidia GeForce GTS 250m 1GB graphics cards. The Aspire 8940 also supports a 4x Blu-ray / DVD Super-Multi double layer drive, a multi card reader, 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFI, an integrated Acer Crystal Eye web camera, and a touch capacitive media control interface.
