Acer finally released its Acer Aspire 9800 laptop in North America. The Aspire 9800 features a 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo T2600 processor, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 256MB GeForce Go 7300 video graphic, and up to 240GB of storage (120GB x 2). It has 20.1 inch CrystalBrite WXGA+ display which is perfect for watching movies through the HD-DVD drive, or optional slot-loading DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive. Other features include a 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, 802.11 a/b/g WLAN, integrated hybrid TV tuner (analog/digital), VoIP Bluetooth phone, 4 Watt subwoofer, and 3 Watt speakers. Acer Aspire 9800 sells for $2,800.
