Acer Aspire One Review

by Stephen on July 24, 2008

This laptop boots in 10 second, which is quite impressive. It opens up in Linux, with simple interface to work with word documents, or excel, and then a bit more to watch videos, listen to music, and view pictures. In the heart of the simplicity lies Intel Atom processor. Physically lean at 1.14″ thick, with 8.9″ LCD, Aspire One only weighs 2.19 pound. it holds either 8 GB built in flash drive, or up to 80 GB of standard HDD. Available in blue, pink, white and brown. Selling at $399 for Microsoft Windows XP Home version. [NYTIMES]
