Acer America has announced U.S. availability of the 10.1-inch Aspire One AOD150, with prices starting at $350. Here are the specs: a 10.1-inch WSVGA Acer CrystalBrite TFT LCD 1024 x 600, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, mobile Intel 945GSE Express Chipset, 1GB of RAM, and a 160GB hard drive preloaded with Windows XP Home. The netbook also includes Wi-Fi, a 6-cell battery, a webcam, two speakers, a multi-format card reader and three USB ports. Available in red, blue or black for pre-order at Amazon and J&R. everything looks great except the graphics, being a chipset, and the small hard disc drive. I have an acer and they are not a bad company at all.
