Asus Upgrades Their Eee PC With Windows 7 OS

Asus has upgraded their EeePC 1005 series with Microsoft Windows 7 Starter OS. The Asus Eee PC 1005HR-WS is a 10.1-inch netbook that is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor with a 1GB of RAM, an Intel 945GSE Express chipset, a 250GB of HDD, Wifi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, a webcam, and three USB ports. This new version of Asus Eee PC 1005HR-WS retails for 49,800 Yen ($546). [Akihabara]
