Eurocom will be dropping its DC901C PHANTOM-X server laptop. The D901C has a 2.8GHz Quad Core XEON X3360 processor, 1.5 terabytes of storage with three SATA-300 hard drives (complete with various RAID options), 8GB of DDR2-800 memory, a Blu-ray burner, and a 17-inch display. No word on a price just yet, but Eurocom’s non-xeon laptops are over $3,000 which says alot right there. [Engadget]

HP has finally given the price for the 2133 XP Mini Note. The 2133 starts at 1.2GHz rig with 1GB of RAM and a 120GB disk for $729, while the upgrade to 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM and a 160GB disk goes for about $819. [Engadget]

Mobo will be launching two new laptops in Brazil including the Positivo Mobo (pictured above). It features a 7-inch display, Via C7-M processor, 1.3-megapixel webcam, and built-in wifi along with 2GB of flash memory. The other is the Mobo Kids laptop with a Celeron M processor and all the same features of the CTL’s 2go PC. They start at about $999 or $590. Toshiba is launching the Portege M-800 laptop. It features a white pearl finish with silver accents, white LEDs, a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T5750, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a WXGA (1,280 x 800) panel, Intel’s GMA X3100 graphics set, a built-in DVD burner, three USB 2.0 ports, FireWire / VGA / headphone sockets, 802.11a/g/n wifi, 56k modem, gigabit ethernet, bluetooth and Vista Home Premium. Motion Computing has launched a new tablet PC Processor called the F5. It features an Intel Core Solo U1400 1.2GHz processor, 1GB 533MHz RAM, 10.4″ touchscreen with 1024 x 768 resolution, 40GB 1.8″ HDD and optional 32GB SSD, wifi connectivity, and bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. Along with either Windows Vista Business or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. Depending on the configuration, it will go for $2,700 on up. [Windows]
