Here is the new rugged laptop from Asus. The Asus B51E is constructed from magnesium alloy and has rubber edge protection and a protective film to protect from scratches on the chassis and display. The notebook also comes with a keyboard with integrated drainage path that is capable of withstanding mojito spills of up to 120 cc / 4 ounces and tabletop drops from 75 cm / 2.5 feet. Its hard drive is floated on a sponge protection system. Asus will be released two new models of the famous Asus Eee PC mini laptop. Known as the Eee PC 904 and Eee PC 905, these two portable gadgets is actually a successor of the Eee PC 900 and the Eee PC 901. This MSI Wind and Acer Aspire One competitors have the specifications that are similar to the 901. However, these laptops come with a bigger keyboard size and footprint, but not the LCD size. Mouse Computer has recently introduced the LuvBook U100 in the Japanese market. The laptop is powered by Intel’s Atom 1.6GHz processor with 1GB RAM, a 80GB hard drive, 10.2 inch WSVGA (1,024 x 600 resolution) display, 1.3MP camera and Windows XP OS. The notebook PC retails for around $600. [AVING]

This is a bad news. MSI has decided to delayed the release date of its MSI Wind notebook. This desktop replacement will be released on July 7th, 2008. It seems that MSI will change the battery from a 6 cell to a 3 cell to cut the price tag. Too bad! [ShinyPlastic]

The Kohjinsha SX Series offers 8.9 inch touch screen display at 1,280 x 768 resolution, Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 60GB HDD, Super Multi-DVD drive, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity.
