The LaVie LL590/GG is NEC’s latest multimedia notebook that features an 1.6 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-50 processor, 768MB of DDR2 SDRAM, 100GB HDD, ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 graphics, DVD Super-Multi drive, and a super bright 15.4 Inch WXGA display with ShineView technology. It has also 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x FireWire port, 802.11 a/b/g WLAN, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3-in-1 memory card reader. Weighing 6,8 pounds, the notebook is available this August in Japan for $1,831.

The Gateway E-100M ultra portable notebook uses Intel Core Solo CPU, 80 GB SATA @ 5400RPM (manufactured by Fujitsu) HDD, 12.1 Inch WXGA Widescreen (1200 x 800), Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, 512MB DDR2 SDRAM @533 MHz (1 x 512MB), and an external USB 8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW). Other features include Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 a/b/g + Internal Bluetooth. This note book measures 0.9 Inch x 11.41 Inch x 8.93 Inch and weights 3.15 lbs. The price is around $1,418. Acer finally released its Acer Aspire 9800 laptop in North America. The Aspire 9800 features a 2.16 GHz Intel Core Duo T2600 processor, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 256MB GeForce Go 7300 video graphic, and up to 240GB of storage (120GB x 2). It has 20.1 inch CrystalBrite WXGA+ display which is perfect for watching movies through the HD-DVD drive, or optional slot-loading DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive. Other features include a 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, 802.11 a/b/g WLAN, integrated hybrid TV tuner (analog/digital), VoIP Bluetooth phone, 4 Watt subwoofer, and 3 Watt speakers. Acer Aspire 9800 sells for $2,800.

LG Electronics, a giant from Korea, launched their new notebook this summer. With the weight only 1.1 Kg, the LG LW25-EV boasts a 12.1 Inch display screen, Duo Core T2400 processor, 1GB of DDR memory, GeForce Go 7300 graphic chipset, BMB TV Tuner, 3G EVDO Data. Hmm… Look at those girls, they are so hot!!!
