DigitalCowboy CRF-102 Notebook Fan

The DigitalCowboy CRF-102 Notebook Fan attaches right onto your laptop to keep it from overheating. It’s a menacing 22cm fan that rotates at 600rpm, all at a quiet 20dB. The cool thing is that it looks like you can detach it and wreak havok, but unfortunately you can’t.

Infinity miPC

Infinity miPC

The Infinity miPC is a UMPC without a keyboard but that’s ok because it not only plays music and video but also records it, has a built-in FM tuner, supports DivX and XviD, and functions as a GPS system when docked. If you need to work on the go, the miPC offers a mobile Microsoft Office, can handle VoIP, Email, browsing and Instant Messaging. The Tele Atlas navigation software includes maps of the US and Canada with text-to-voice directions. The Infinity miPC features a 4.3 inch touchscreen, SD slot, 30GB HDD, 128MB of RAM and connectivity via USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.0 and 802.11b/g Wi-Fi. Price not available yet, though it’s set to release in the near future.

Samsung Q1P UMPC gets Windows Vista

Samsung Q1P UMPC gets Window Vista
The 1.7-pound, 7-inch Samsung Q1P Ultra-Mobile PC that most of you are familiar with is now equipped with Windows Vista. So to add to the 1.0GHz Pentium ULV processor, 60GB HDD, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth, and WiFi is the whole Origami Experience which is Microsoft’s launcher/media player for Vista-powered UMPC’s. The price tag for the Samsung Q1P UMPC is still $1,300, but the experience is upgraded.

Estari DC15 Dual Touchscreen Laptop

Estari DC15 Dual Touchscreen Laptop
The Estari DC15 Dual Touchscreen Laptop comes packed with a 1.83GHz Intel dual core processor, 2 GB RAM, 60-100 GB HDD, USB and Wi-Fi support, 2.5 hours battery life, and a 15 inch widescreen monitor… or should i say 2 monitors because the unique feature of the DC15 is that it’s a dual touchscreen laptop shaped like a briefcase, one of the touchscreens is able to function as a keyboard. It’s physically heavy at 5.9kg (~15 lbs), but that’s not as heavy as the price tag: $4350.

Seamless WiFi S-XGen Ultra-Mobile PC

Seamless Wifi S-XGen Ultra-Mobile PC

The fold-out keyboard really makes the Seamless WiFi S-XGen UMPC something special. The S-XGen features a 520MHz Intel Xscale processor, 4-inch screen, 128MB SDRAM, 20GB HDD, 802.11b Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Ethernet. At $1400, the S-XGen runs on Windows CE 5.0 and comes equipped with Microsoft Office Mobile Suite, so it might not have the same operating system as competing UMPC’s (Windows XP Tablet PC Edition) but the fold-out keyboard and its connectivity options gives it an edge.
