Averatec launches its first dual core laptop, the AV7170-EC1, which boasts the 17 Inch widescreen notebook, and powered by the new AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile technology, a 100GB SATA HDD 7,200RPM, 1GB of DDR2 memory operating at 533MHz, and nVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 integrated graphics. Moreover, the laptop also features a 802.11b/g wireless, an integrated Gigabit Ethernet, a built-in dual-layer DVD/CD burner and an integrated 5-in-1 media card reader which supports xD, MS, MS PRO, MMC and SD memory card formats.
