Germany’s Cizmo will be dropping a new Centrino 2 laptop called the CX15. It features either a P8400, P8600, or P9400 Core 2 Duo processor, NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTX graphics, DDR3 RAM, optional Blu-ray drive, an eSATA port, and a 32GB or 64GB SSD drive. The CX15 should hit Europe the beginning of June for €1,499 or a bit over $2,400. [Engadget]

That’s cause the newer 9-series are G80 based die-shrinks and 8800m GTX is G92 based. So a 9500m GS delivers slightly (a few fps more) better performance than a 8600m GT with the same memory type (DDR2/GDDR3). The same goes for the rest of the line.. And seeing a 9800 GTX ain’t all that more powerful than a 8800 GT, a 9800m GTX won’t really be that much more poweful than a 8800m GTX.
