Dell Launches The Latitude 2100 Netbook

Dell has rolled out its latest netbook namely the Dell Latitude 2100, which is specifically targeted for educational markets. This semi-rugged netbook comes with a rubberized exterior to protect it from bumps and drops, along with an optional anti-microbial keyboard. As for the specs itself, this mini laptop offers a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 576 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 processor, a 1GB RAM, an optional 16GB SSD to a 250GB hard drive, WiFi and a choice of XP Home, Vista Home Basic and Linux Ubuntu OS. In addition, the netbook will also come with optional touchscreen features. The Dell Latitude 2100 retails for $369. [Liliputing]

Dell isn’t know for being able to “rugged” anyting. I hope someone puts this through some rugged testing so we can see if it’s really rugged, or its just “marketing-rugged”
