The Acer Aspire Gemstone Blue notebooks will be available soon in the US via authorized resellers and selected retailers. The Gemstone Blue line are claimed to be the first 18.4 inch and 16 inch laptops in the market with true High Definition cinematic capabilities. It seems that Asus Taiwan will be released the new Eee PC 901 UMPC. The company adds in a new row of buttons between the keyboard and battery and a power plug on the left side. Measuring 6 inch x 3.2 inch x 0.9 inch, the gadget comes equipped with a slide out 47 key back lit keyboard, a 800MHz Intel Atom processor, 512MB RAM, 4 or 8GB SSD, HSDPA 3G wireless module, and a 3060MAh battery which should give at least a 4hours of battery life.
