Freescale Semiconductor Enters Netbook Markets

Freescale Semiconductor will release an Android-powered netbook sometime in the second quarter of this year. The netbook will retail for approximately $100. I say — this is the machine that I thought a Netbook would be…not some blunderbus with a 10 inch screen, Vista and tons of pricey options pushing it to $500.

$100 netbook running linux is the answer to the economy! As in, they’ll sell millions.
