HP is preparing to unleash a new Intel-based netbook in Japan. Called the Mini 210-2000, this mini-laptop is powered by either a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N475 single-core or 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual-core processor and equipped with a 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display, an Intel GMA 3150 graphics card, up to 2GB DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a webcam, a 5-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 6-cell battery and Windows 7 Starter 32-bit OS. The HP Mini 210-2000 will hit Japan next month for a starting price of 50,000 Yen (about $599). [HP]
