Apple Unveils New MacBook Air

Apple has unveiled the new MacBook Air that measures 0.11-inches at its thinnest point and 0.68-inches at its thickest. Weighing at 2.3 pounds for the 11-inch model and 2.9 pounds for the 13-inch model, the new MacBook Air features solid state storage, up to 7-hours of battery life and a full-sized keyboard for typing comfort. Other highlights include a built-in FaceTime camera with a microphone and stereo speakers, Intel Core 2 Duo processors, an nVidia GeForce 320M graphics, 802.11n Wi-Fi connectivity, a Mini DisplayPort and two USB ports (plus an SD card reader in the 13-inch model). Word has it that Apple will unveil the new 11.6-inch MacBook Air ultraportable laptop at the “Back to the Mac” event on October 20th, 2010. The laptop will feature a 1.86GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SL9400 CPU and an nVidia MCP89 chipset. What’s more, the upcoming 11.6-inch MacBook Air also has a new internal storage called “SSD Card” that looks like a stick of RAM and possibly provides instant-on capability. [AppleInsider]

According to rumors, Apple will launch the new 11.6-inch MacBook Air in the near future. The new MacBook Air will be powered by the latest generation Intel Core family processors and will be out in the second half of 2010. Unibody MacBook Gets 2.4GHz Processor

Apple has released an updated version of its Unibody MacBook that comes equipped with a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (up from 2.26GHz). Apple's New Core i5 And i7 MacBook Pros

Apple has finally confirmed the updated MacBook Pro with Intel Core i5 and i7 CPUs. The new 13-inch MacBook Pro features a faster Intel Core 2 Duo processor (2.4GHz and 2.66GHz), a larger hard drives (250GB and 320GB), an nVidia GeForce 320M graphics, and a 4GB RAM. Meanwhile, the new 15-inch MacBook Pro has an Intel Core i5 – i7 processors with a 4GB RAM, and a 320GB – 500GB hard drive. And finally, the 17-inch MacBook Pro is powered by a 2.53GHz Intel Core i5 processor, a 4GB RAM, and a 500GB hard drive. All models features an SD card slot and a battery that will last for up to 9-10 hours. According to rumors, Apple is going to release the updated MacBook Pro laptops with the latest 2010 Intel Core processors very soon. There will be four new MacBook Pro models: the MC371LL/A, MC373LL/A, MC024LL/A and MC372LL/A, with prices ranging from $1,799.99 to $2,299.99.
