Asus has plan to add red and pink models for its Eee PC 1005HA netbook in the near future. The netbook is currently available in the US in black, white, and blue. There’s no word on whether the new colors will affect the netbook’s price. Stay tuned for more updates. More
ASUS has added two new gaming notebooks to its range with the introduction of G51Vx and G60Vx. Both notebooks are equipped with an optional Intel Core 2 Quad or Core 2 Duo processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M with GDDR3 1GB VRAM, up to 4GB RAM, a max 1TB storage, an illuminated chiclet keyboard, instant gaming keys, a 2MP camera, a Blu-ray Combo, Windows Vista OS and Creative’s industry-defining EAX and CMSS audio technologies. The main difference is that the G51Vx only comes with a 15.6-inch FHD/HD LED LCD, meanwhile the G60Vx offers a bigger 16-inch HD LED backlight display. sadly, there’s no word on pricing and availabilty yet. Disney has joined together with laptop maker Asus to release a Disney-branded netbook, known as the Netpal. It is specially designed for kids aged 6 to 12. The Netpal is based on Eee PC that comes equipped with a 8.9-inch LCD display, a Wi-Fi connectivity, an Intel Atom processor, and a Microsoft Windows XP OS with a customized interface featuring themes such as Mickey Mouse, Cars, Toy Story and WALL-E. You can choose from a 16GB SSD or a 160GB hard drive, while color choices include pink with floral designs or blue with Mickey Mouse icons. Asus has finally made the Eee PC 1101HA official. The 11.6-inch netbook features a 1,366 x 768 resolution display, an Intel Atom Z520 1.3GHz processor, a 11-hour battery life, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive. [Liliputing]
Asus is ready to release three new netbooks in the Australian market in July 2009. All of hese netbooks are more expensive than in the US. The Eee PC T91 convertible touchscreen tablet will be available for about $999 Australian (US$780), meanwhile the Eee PC 1008HA “Seashell” will go for around $899 Australian (US$702). The price tag for the Eee PC 1005HA comes between $599 and $799 Australian (US$468 to US$624), depending on the configuration. [Portable Monkey]

This mini laptop is equipped with a 10-inch 1024 x 600 display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 processor, an ATI Radeon HD 3450 graphics with 256MB of memory, a 1.3MP webcam, a 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a VGA port, three USB 2.0 ports, an SD/SDHC/MMC card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 and a six cell battery.
