Asus has announced the release of their notebook called the U2E. It features a 32GB SSD making it shock-resistant, a high-res webcam combined into the LCD and the ASUS SmartLogon software which uses face recognition security. No word on pricing yet.

Asus has just launched a notebook representing a Lamborghini called the VX2S. It is powered by Santa Rosa Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2G (4M L2, 800MHz) and Mobile Intel PM965 Express Chipset. The VX2S features a 15.4-inch display, 1024* 2MB (DDR667) memory ram, 200GB SATA hard drive, Nvidia GeforceGo NB8P512MB/ 1G Turbo Cache with 2G RAM, and it is running on Windows Vista. Additional features include a DVD-S-Multi LS optical drive, 3945ABG(M1)10/100 LAN, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, USB 2.0 *3, TV-out, 8-in-1 Card reader, VGA out, Built-in High Definition Audio compliant audio chip, Built-in speaker and microphone. Get yours today for $3,655.

Asus today announced the 14.1-inch F8P Christmas Edition Laptop. The desktop replacement is based on Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 256MB AMD ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400 VGA card, and 250GB hard disk drive. You can also customize this notebook with 2.2GHz C2D 7500 CPU, up to 2GB RAM, 1GB Intel Turbo Memory, 14.1 inch WXGA (1280 x 800) LCD display, dual layer DVD burner, 5 USB ports, 8-in1 card reader, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth 2.0, 1.3MP webcam, fingerprint reader, and Windows Vista operating system. The F8P will be available later this month for around $1,945.

ASUS announced its multimedia notebook PC called the F3Sc-T7250. This desktop replacement is actually a successor model of F3Sc-T7300, a Santa Rosa-based notebook PC. The laptop features 15.4-inch LCD display with 1280×800 resolution, up to 4GB DDRII-667MHz and Nvidia Geforce 8400M G graphic card supporting DirectX 10. The F3Sc-T7250 also offers ASUS’s Splendid Video Enhancement technology, 128MB video memory, and Power4 Gear eXtreme power management. Pricing info has not been announced yet.

Asustek is ready to release Asus F7K 17-inch laptop which adopts an AMD Turion 64 X2 dual core processor with the DirectX 10 compatible ATI Mobility Radeon HD2400 256MB dedicated video card and the 17 inch 1440×900 widescreen display. The laptop also features a 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive at 5,400rpm, and a DVD burner. Other features include a 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN, Gigabit Ethernet, 56K modem, Bluetooth connections, a TV tuner and a 1.3MP webcam. The Asus F7K will be released with Windows Vista Home Premium operating system.
