Asus has finally posted an official product page on its Chinese portal that unveils the netbook’s specifications. Weighing at 2.4-pounds, the Eee PC 1001HA comes jam packed with a 10.1-inch LCD display, a 160GB hard drive, a 802.11n WiFi, and a 92% full sized keyboard. The satin-brushed aluminum Asus M60J comes jam packed with a 16-inch (1366×768) HD LCD display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and dual hard disk drives providing up to 1TB of storage space. Here’s the latest addition to Asus’ gaming notebook series, the ROG G60J. Targeted towards extreme gamers, this stylish notebook boasts the latest Intel Core i7 720QM 1.6GHz CPU, a 16-inch LED backlit display, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M 1GB graphics card, up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, up to 1TB HDD, a 2MP webcam, a backlit keyboard, a DVD burner, WiFi, Bluetooth and Windows 7 OS. Active Media has updates its SSD series for Asus Eee PC S101, 900, 900A, and 901. The SaberTooth S3 SSDs provides read speeds up to 95MB/sec and write speeds up to 70MB/sec. Available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB sizes, the device fits in the Eee PC’s Mini PCIe card slot. Active Media is selling the 32GB and 64GB modules through Amazon for $89.95 and $159.95, respectively. A Chinese site so.pcpop.com has recently posted a product page of Asus’ upcoming Seashell netbook, the Eee PC 1001HA. According to this page, the 1001HA will feature a 10.1-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, an Intel Atom N270 processor, an Intel 945GSE + ICH7M chipset, a 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a 3-cell battery and a choice of either Windows XP, Linux or with no OS installed. The Eee PC 1001HA Seashell will likely to start shipping sometime next week in European market with prices ranging from 250 to 300 euros. [EeePC]
Asus has silently released the Eee PC 1201n in China. The 12-inch netbook comes jam packed with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, a HD widescreen display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and an nVidia GeForce 9400M, which looks like an ION chip. Other features include a 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet, a VGA port, USB, audio I/O, and a 6 cell battery (5200mAh) that is capable of up to 11 hours of run time.
