The Asus Eee PC 1004DN that was debuted at CES 2009 has finally released in Taiwan. The netbook is priced at approximately $608 from PC Home. Weighing at 3.2 pounds, the Asus Ships Eee PC 1004DN features a CD/DVD burner, a fingerprint scanner, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU and an Intel GN40 chipset with X4500M graphics. Other features include a 10.2 inch (1024 x 600) display, a 1GB of RAM, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, an ExpressCard 34 slot, and a 6 cell battery (5.5-hours of run time). Currently available in the US in black and white, Asus has finally added two new colors to its Eee PC 1008HA netbook series, which is now available in Pearl Pink and Pearl Blue color options.
