BenQ introduced their latest Joybook R56 laptop, which features 15.4-inch UltraVivid widescreen LCD display with 8ms response time and 1280×800 WXGA resolution. The laptop is based on Santa Rosa platform with Core 2 Duo T7100 processor, Nvidia GeForce 8400M G graphics card (max 895MB memory), up to 2GB RAM, 160GB hard drive, dual layer DVD burner, HDMI, and a/b/g/n wireless. Other features include built-in dual speakers, a subwoofer, 1.3MP webcam, and Windows Vista operating system. Pricing and availability are still unknown.

The new Joybook S32 (and S32W - the white version) from BenQ is made of aluminum and painted using an exclusive process. The device is equipped with a 13.3 inch widescreen display and comes with a ripple-textured touchpad. The laptop also features a 1.3MP QEye webcam which is great for video conferencing. With SRS TruSurround XT technology, users can enjoy a mini home theater right in their room. Other features include a Core 2 Duo processor with GM965 Express Chipset, and a standard 56kbps modem, 10/100/1000 Ethernet, WLAN, and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.

BenQ today unveiled its latest Joybook, the BenQ S41. The laptop features Intel Core 2 Duo processor technology, 1GB RAM and nVIDIA GeForce 8600M graphics with UltraVivid technology. The Display Brilliance Enhancement Film (DBEF) enhances brightness. The Joybook S41 also comes equipped with SRS TruSurround XT, 802.11 a/b/g/n support, and Bluetooth 2.0.
