HP has released another new notebook, the HP Pavilion DV9000 which is powered by a Mobile AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core processor. The notebook features a 17 Inch WXGA+ TFT LCD with resolutions of 1440 x 900 and an optional of WXGA+ Ultra BrightView or WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) BrightView display, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 graphics card with 256MB dedicated DDR2 VRAM, dual hard disk drive with combined capacity up to 240GB and an integrated wireless support for 802.11a/b/g Wireless LAN as well as Bluetooth technology. Moreover, this 7.8 lbs notebook also has a built-in 5-in-1 digital media card reader, four USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard 54 slot and integrated Altec Lansing stereo speakers. There is no news in pricing and availability.
HP launched the Compaq Presario V6000 which features a new design with touch-sensitive backlit buttons and volume control. This 6.6 lbs notebook is powered by either AMD Turion 64 X2 or AMD Sempron. It features a high-definition 15.4 Inch WXGA Widescreen with a maximum resolutions of 1280 x 800, NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 graphic cards with NVIDIA nForce Go 430 chipset, 512MB to 1GB RAM, 60GB to 120GB of 5400 RPM SATA HDD, and 5-in-1 digital media card reader. Presario V6000 also has a built-in 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45 connector), three USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard/54 slot, an RJ-11, an IEEE 1394 FireWire, an S-Video, and consumer IR. It provides integrated 802.11b/g or 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN with optional Bluetooth for wireless connections. Dimensions are 14.05 Inch x 10.12 Inch x 1 Inch.

Averatec launches its first dual core laptop, the AV7170-EC1, which boasts the 17 Inch widescreen notebook, and powered by the new AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core mobile technology, a 100GB SATA HDD 7,200RPM, 1GB of DDR2 memory operating at 533MHz, and nVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 integrated graphics. Moreover, the laptop also features a 802.11b/g wireless, an integrated Gigabit Ethernet, a built-in dual-layer DVD/CD burner and an integrated 5-in-1 media card reader which supports xD, MS, MS PRO, MMC and SD memory card formats. Averatec AV7170-EC1’s estimated price is $1,149.99.
Prime Note Chronos NW is the latest notebook from Dospara. It is using an Intel Core Duo T2300E (1.66GHz) processor and features 512MB of memory, 80GB HDD, a 13.3 Inch WXGA widescreen display, and a DVD Super Multi drive. Other features include three USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi, and a 3-in-1 memory card reader. Available in Japan, the notebook’s price is around $1,324.

HP TC4400 Tablet PC boasts an Intel T2400 Core Duo processor (1.83GHz) and a 12.1 Inch XGA LCD display which allows for a 160 degree wide-viewing angle. Since it is designed with corporate users, the tablet PC includes Bluetooth 2.0, a full-sized (detachable) QWERTY keyboard, and WiFi connectivity. The HP TC4400 price is 2,090,000 Korean Won or about $2207 USD.

Alienware releases two new laptops for gamers, the Area-51 m5550 and Sentia m3450. The Area-51 m5550 is powered by an Intel 2.16GHz dual core processor, 15 Inch LCD screen which has a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, and 256MB Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 chip. This laptop is also has a large HDD capacity. It uses 100GB HDD which is enough to store all your favourite games. The next laptop is Sentia m3450. It uses a powerful Intel 2.16 GHz dual core processor, but its graphics aren’t as strong as Area-51 m5550 since it is only use the integrated Intel Media Accelerator 950 Graphics. Prices is £900 for the Area-51 m5550 and £750 for the Sentia m3450.
