Dell recently announced that their Wireless 5700 Broadband ExpressCard wil be available through Verizon Wireless for $179. With their Unlimited Broadband Access plan you will obtain speeds from 400-700 kps. More information is available here.

Dell Laptop Explodes

If you have Dell laptop, you must be careful with it. Dell is investigating a report of an exploded Dell laptop at a conference in Japan this week. It is said:

The damn thing was on fire and produced several explosions for more than five minutes.

Dell has confirmed that the news is true. Last December Dell recalled 22,000 batteries because of possible overheating and the fire-risk problems. Via Inquirer.
