Dell will be dropping a new laptop called the Latitude XFR D630. The D630 is capable of working in the most extreme temperatures, moisture, and altitudes, with support for solid state drives, traditional hard drives thanks to the shock-isolated mounting, a sealed keyboard protecting it from rain and dust, along with 500 nits of brightness and an optional integrated resistive touch screen technology. Dell XPS M1730

Dell XPS M1730

Dell has updated their XPS line with the M1730, now available with two of the fastest mobile graphics chips. It has a Core 2 Extreme X9000 mobile CPU running at 2.8GHz, a pair of GeForce 8800M GTX cards in SLI, and two 200GB 7200 RPM drives in RAID 0 configuration. The XPS M1730 is said to be the “fastest mobile CPU on the market”. Unfortunately the price is about $4,500 but it should be worth it.

Dell XPS M1730 WoW Edition

Dell XPS M1730 WoW Edition

Dell and Blizzard have joined together to release the XPS M1730 World of Warcraft (WoW) Edition notebook. This gaming laptop will be released to all US customers from December 11th, 2007. The system has a custom WoW artwork inside and out along with exclusive rare bonus items and a WoW backpack that is filled with game-themed extras. Priced at a hefty $4,499, the desktop replacement will be made available for purchase by those who have pre-registered for early access during the “It Begins” quest.
