Gateway has announced that the gaming powerhouse laptop is now available along with the $999.99 M-6850FX. The laptop features a Core 2 Duo T5550 CPU, an ATI Radeon HD 2600 graphics chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive, and a DVD-R / RW / DVD-RAM optical drive. The other ones are the $849.99 M-1626 and $749.99 T-1628. The first features a 15.4-inch display, an AMD Turion TL-60 CPU, ATI Radeon HD x1270 graphics, 4GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive,and HDMI. The other comes with a 14.1-inch display, AMD CPU and ATI graphics chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and wireless and HDMI support. Gateway has dropped a new pen-based configuration called the C-142XL ($1,299.99) which comes with a Core 2 Duo T8300 CPU, ATI Radeon X2300 HD GPU, 3GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and a Wacom pen for input. Gateway will be making new colors for its M-Series and T-Series notebooks.The new color choices include:Merlot, Silver and Arctic Bloom as well as Garnet Red and Pacific Blue. The M-Series will get Merlot and Silver, and both M- and T-Series will have the Arctic Bloom. Gateway will be charging between $799.99 and $1,399.99 for these colorful notebooks.
