The HP Envy 17 is now available for purchase. The base configuration of Envy 17 features a 2.26GHz Intel Core i5 CPU with a 4GB of RAM, a 320GB HDD, a 17-inch (1600 x 900) LCD display and an ATI Radion HD 5850 graphics. HP’s recommended configuration for the Envy 17 is powered by a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 CPU, a 6GB of RAM, a 500GB hard drive and a 17-inch (1920 x 1080) LCD display. Both models come equipped with a 6-cell Lithium-Ion battery (up to 2.5 hours), or you can upgrade to a 9-cell (up to 3.75 hours). HP TouchSmart tm2 With Intel Core i3 And Core i5 Processors

HP has upgraded the TouchSmart tm2 with Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors. These new notebooks will be released in Europe in June 2010. The current notebook’s six-cell battery is currently rated at nine hours of life, but the new CPUs may change this significantly. [NewGadgets]
