MSI Wind U100 Plus with Intel Atom N280 CPU

MSI has announced the Wind U100 Plus 10-inch netbook, which is an updated version of the previously released U100. Available in Imperial Black, Angelic White, Regal Red, Rose Champagne and Metallic Blue, the new model supports an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, up to 2GB of DDR2 memory, a 160GB hard drive with Windows XP Home preloaded, the GMA 950 integrated graphics, and a 3- or 6-cell battery. Its 10-inch LED backlight display comes with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. Other features include a 1.3MP webcam, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an Ethernet LAN port, three USB ports, a 4-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA output. [MSI]

The MSI Wind U115 is now available in France for around €550 ($718). The 10-inch netbook sports a 1024 x 600 display with Intel Atom Z530 CPU that consumes less power than the Atom N270 CPU found in most netbooks. What makes the MSI Wind U115 more special is that it uses a hybrid storage system consisting of a hard drive and solid state disk. As a result, the MSI Wind U115 has an extra long battery life. New MSI Wind U123 Netbook Series

New MSI Wind U123 Netbook Variants

MSI has unveiled three new MSI Wind U123 netbooks that consist of the U123, U123H, and U123T. All of these models feature a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 10-inch LCD screen (1024 x 600 resolution), 1GB of RAM, up to 160GB hard drive, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, a webcam, an optional 3 or 6 cell battery, and Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. These netbooks also come with the Easy Face Manager feature that is able to scan the face of the user and record reorganization through the shapes of the eyes, cheekbones, jaw line, and the nose. The user can then adjust the level for personal security identification with up to ten facial images per user. The Wind U123H also comes with a 3.5G HSDPA modem, while the Wind U123T comes with a built in digital TV tuner. [MSI]

MSI X320 and X340 Netbooks Pricing Unveiled

The X320 and X340 are the latest netbooks from MSI. For your info, the MSI X340 is priced at sub-$1000 and boasts an Intel’s SU3500 CULV processor running at 1.3Ghz with 4GB of RAM and a 1080p-capable GMA4500MHD graphics. Meanwhile, the MSI X320 retails for around $700 and has a 1.6Ghz Atom CPU, GMA500 graphics, 2GB RAM, and an optional 3G/WiMAX. Both netbooks offer a 1366 x 768 13.4-inch display, 250GB of HDD, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, three USB 2.0 ports, VGA outputs and a 4-Cell battery.
