Claimed as the world’s thinnest ultrabook (12.8mm thick), this ultra-portable system is packed with a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS LED-backlight display, a 1.90GHz Intel Core i7-3517U processor, an Intel QS77 Express Chipset, a 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 256GB SSD, a webcam, an SD card slot, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 + HS and runs on Windows 8 64-bit OS. Measuring 298mm x 204mm x 15.6mm and weighing 1.24 kg, the NEC LaVie Y also provides several connectivity options such as USB 2.0, 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, a 5-in-1 card reader, HDMI and a 1.3-megapixel webcam.
