NEC LE150H2 14-Inch Notebook

NEC is gearing up to drop another 14-inch notebook into the market. Known as the LE150H2, the system will feature a 14-inch 1366 x 768 LCD display, a 1.60GHz Intel Celeron B815 processor, an Intel HM65 Express Chipset, a 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 640GB hard drive, a DVD Super Multi Drive, a webcam, an SD card slot, WiFi, 2010 Office Home and Business pre-installed and run on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (SP1) OS. The LE150H2 will go on sale from early May for around 90,000 Yen (about $1,125). [NEC]


NEC has come out with a new 12.1-inch notebook called the VersaPro UltraLite Type VB. Specs-wise, the system is equipped with a 12.1-inch WXGA LCD display, a 1.7GHz Intel Core i7-2637M processor, a 2GB DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive and runs on Windows 7 Professional OS. The VersaPro UltraLite Type VB sells for 228,900 Yen (about $2,975). [NEC]

NEC ShieldPRO N22G Rugged Tablet PC

NEC Japan has unveiled the ShieldPRO N22G rugged tablet PC, which is designed for use in severe environments. Compliant with the IP65 (International Protection Rating), the computer features a 1.33GHz Intel Core i7-660UE processor with an Intel QM57 chipset, a 12.1-inch (1,024×768) touchscreen display, a 4GB of RAM, up to 160GB of HDD, and an optional 32GB SSD. Weighing at only 2.7kg, the NEC ShieldPRO N22G also offers three USB ports, IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, Gigabit Ethernet and a dual language (English/Japanese) keyboard. NEC LaVie Light BL350/FW 10.1-Inch Netbook

NEC is set to drop another 10.1-inch netbook for the Japanese market. Known as the LaVie Light BL350/FW, this mini laptop comes with a 10.1-inch 1366 x 768 LED-backlit display, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N570 processor, a 1GB DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive and runs on Windows 7 Starter 32-bit (SP1) OS. The LaVie Light BL350/FW will start shipping in Japan from mid-September for around 60,000 Yen (about $775). [NEC]

NEC LifeTouch Note 7-Inch Mini Notebook

A new mini notebook from NEC has recently entered the Japanese market. Dubbed as the LifeTouch Note, the system sports a 7-inch 800 x 480 resistive touchscreen display, a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, a microSD card slot (2GB or 8GB will be bundled), a 2.0-megapixel camera, GPS, an accelerometer sensor, a digital compass, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, a mini USB port and runs on Android 2.2 OS. The NEC LifeTouch Note will go on sale in Japan from March 10th in two different configurations: 2GB of internal storage + 2GB memory card (Piano Black) for $480 or 8GB of internal storage + 8GB memory card (Piano Black, Chocolate Brown, Red) for $539. NEC LaVie M Receives CULV Celeron And Digital TV Tuner

NEC launched an upgrade version of its LaVie M with a 1.2GHz Intel CULV Celeron SU2300 processor and Wireless LAN Digital TV tuner. Using this laptop, you can watch and record TV from the comfort of your sofa. The new LaVie M uses Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit as its operating system. The computer also features an Intel GS45 Express Chipset, a 320GB of HDD, a 2GB of RAM (up to 8GB), and a 13.3-inch LCD with a WXGA resolution and LED Backlight. Other specs include an HDMI Out, an SDXC card support, USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi. The new NEC LaVie M is priced at 125,000 Yen ($1,350). [Akihabara]
