NEC offers their new high end notebook, the LaVie C LC950/HJ, which is Windows Vista compatible. Powered by a 2GHz Core 2 Duo T7200, this notebook provides a Blu-Ray player, an HDMI port, a Radeon X1600 graphic card, and a 15.4 inch display with a 1280×800 resolution. No word yet on pricing and availability.
This NEC LaVie C LC900/GD incorporates a 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 CPU, 1GB of DDR2 memory, 160GB HDD (80GB x 2 in RAID 0), ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 graphics, DVD Super-Multi drive, and a 15.4 inch WUXGA (1900 x 1200) display with ShineView technology. Weighing 9.5 pounds, LaVie C LC900/GD will be available in early October with the price of US$2135. Other specs include five USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, 3-in-1 memory card reader, and 802.11 a/b/g WLAN.
NEC introduced its new notebook, LaVie “G Type L”, which provides a 1.80 GHz AMD Mobile Sempron 3100+ processor, 512MB of DDR2 SDRAM, 80GB hard drive, DVD Super-Multi drive, and 15.4 inch WXGA display into a 6.8 pound frame. This notebook also features four USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire port, 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi, 3-in-1 memory card reader, and a Type 2 PC Card slot. LaVie “G Type L” is now available in Lime Green and it goes on sale this month in Japan.
The LaVie LL590/GG is NEC’s latest multimedia notebook that features an 1.6 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-50 processor, 768MB of DDR2 SDRAM, 100GB HDD, ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 graphics, DVD Super-Multi drive, and a super bright 15.4 Inch WXGA display with ShineView technology. It has also 4 x USB 2.0 ports, 1 x FireWire port, 802.11 a/b/g WLAN, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3-in-1 memory card reader. Weighing 6,8 pounds, the notebook is available this August in Japan for $1,831.
