Wanxin H1 Netbook

You might be accidentally mistook the Wanxin H1 netbook for an Acer Aspire One. However, it has different specs. The Wanxin H1 has a larger 9-inch display with a poor 800 x 480 pixel resolution, a 256MB of RAM, up to 8GB of flash storage, Windows CE OS and an undefined Samsung CPU. Meanwhile, the Aspire One has an 8.9 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and runs on Windows XP or Linux OS. There is no info on pricing or availability. It seems that the Wanxin H1 will be available only in Taiwan. [Liliputing]

Latest Toshiba UX 10-inch Netbook

Toshiba just released a new member from its Toshiba UX netbook series. Available in two different colors, the 10-inch netbook comes equipped with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU, a 1024×600 resolution display with LED backlight, and a 160GB of HDD. Aware Electronics from Taiwan shows off a netbook at the 2009 Electronics and Components China Sourcing Fair organized by Global Sources. Known as the A-View, this netbook has a 7 inch display and a removable keyboard, which means you can use the netbook as a laptop or as a tablet. Other features include 8GB of flash memory, 512MB of RAM, and can run Microsoft Windows XP or Linux OS, which means it has an x86 processor. The A-View is priced at around $150. [GadgetMix]

Two New Netbooks By Packard Bell

The Packard Bell Dot S has a 10.1 inch display and the Dot M has an 11.6 inch. Both netbooks feature WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3G options and multitouch trackpads. The rest of the specs are 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drives, webcams, and 5-in-1 flash memory card readers. The Dot M is powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 CPU instead of the more common 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor. This type of CPU will offer longer battery life, but slower performance.
