Quaduro Quadpad E84 ruggedised tablet PC

Quaduro designs its laptop with no internal moving parts, minimising boot up and shut down. It uses flash memory drive at its core. “Quadads” enable interaction directly with the screen, instead of a mouse and keyboard, the tablet becomes convenient and easy to use, you can even use it while standing up, which is perfect for professionals on the move such as doctors, mechanics, warehouse staff. The Quaduro Quadpad E84 has an 8.4″ touchscreen display and uses an 8GB CompactFlash card to store data. The Quaduro E84 features a 1GHz Intel Celeron M processor with 1GB of RAM, while graphics are powered by a 64MB nVidia chip. Zepto has recently come up with its graphical high end laptops, Mythos A15. It is equipped with several key features; Intel® Core™ 2 Duo-processor P7350, NVIDIA® Geforce 9600M GT 512MB, 80GB SATA HDD, 1024MB DDR2 RAM. The Geforce 9600M GT 512MB DDR3 powering Mythos A15 is Nvidia PhysX and CUDA Ready, it is substantially faster than its 8600M GT counterpart. Starting mid October, the model will support docking station featuring built in HDMI, 6 USB ports and Digital audio out. It also comes with fingerprint reader. It uses “ARC” technology (aluminum reinforced chassis) for maximum durability. It runs on Linux Operating System. It comes with basic functions such as Word, Excel, Media player and Internet Explorer, plus flash viewer and drawpad- similar to MS paint. Jointech has just announced what could be the cheapest mini laptop selling at only $99. JL7100 runs on Win CE 5.0. It uses Samsung chipset with 64 MB RAM and internal memory of 64 MB. It also has built in Wi-Fi and 3 USB Ports (which you can also use to plug external memory). It is capable to run basic laptop applications like MS Word, MS Excel, media player, MSN messenger, PDF reader, Internet Explorer, and more. All these packed in 225 x 165 x 36 mm accessible through 7″ display, weighing only 680g. The only catch is that it is currently only selling in Hong Kong. [Jointech]
