Measuring 4.4mm thick and weighing 3 Kilograms, Samsung’s upcoming M55 HD DVD laptop will be equipped with a 17 inch widescreen LCD display with a resolution of 1920x1200pixels and powered by the Intel T2500 Core Duo processor, 256MB GeForce 7600 Go graphics, up to 120GB of SATA disk, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, and SRS Audio capabilities. Samsung M55 will be available soon and would retail for around €3,000 or US$3,810.
Samsung Electronics launched its new Sens G10 notebook. It is powered by a an AMD Sempron processor and comes with a large 200GB SATA HDD running at 7200rpm. The notebook features a 17 inch LCD screen with a 700:1 contrast ratio and 300 (cd/m2) brightness. Its response time is 6ms which ensures your precious eyes remain perfectly in tact without much strain. The graphics is powered by a GeForce Go 6100 video card. No word on the pricing and availability as yet, but the notebook seems to be in Korean market now.
The Samsung Q40 laptop weighs only 1.15kg and is under an inch thick. Using Microsoft’s Windows XP professional as its operating system, the laptop is powered by an Intel 1.2 GHz Core Solo processor and features 512MB RAM, WiFi connectivity, 60GB hard disk drive, 12.1 inch widescreen SuperClear display, and an external DVD re-writer. You can buy this laptop at PC World with the price of £1,299.99.

Samsung Korea has released the Sens R40. It is a new notebook PC that features a 15.4 inch widescreen display and is powered by an Intel Core Duo CPU processor, 512 MB memory, ATI Radeon Xpress 200M, an 80GB HDD, and a combo drive. Using the Atheros Super G WLAN solution, you can connect to almost any wireless network. You can also enjoy movies and music playback using the dedicated multimedia speakers and the stereo speakers which deliver an output of 4W. This notebook is available in Korea for 1,400,000 KRW or around $ 1465.

Dropping June 1st, this portable computer will make some people think twice about buying a laptop. Samsung’s UMPC which stands for Ultra Mobile PC will weigh a measly 1.7 pounds and 22.8 x 14 x 2.7 in size. In addition to is accesible size, the UMPC will have a 7-inch touchscreen display, 900MHz Celeron M ULV processor, 512MB of 400MHz DDR2 memory, 40GB hard drive, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.0. It weighs a mere 4.18 pounds, yet is equipped with an Intel Core Duo T2700 processor, 512MB of 667MHz DDR2 memory, 80GB hard drive, and sports a 1280 x 800 12.1-inch widescreen display among other cool features.
