Here’s the follow up article to the previously reported new mobile pc that was going to come out from Sony. Here’s the real story. Sony is releasing the VAIO UX Micro PC this july and will cost about $1,800. The Micro PC runs on Windows XP Pro, and features a 4-inch wide screen with a keyboard. The Micro PC also comes with two cameras, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Cingular EDGE connectivity. Via Uncrate.

Sony will be upgrading their FJ3, FE20, and SZ2 notebooks. The new FJ3 will now come with a dual-layer DVD+RW drive and 100GB hardrive. Every model will feature an Intel Core Duo CPU, 1GB of 533MHz DDR2 memory, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400/7600 graphics card, and and 802.11 a/b/g WLAN. There’s no info on pricing or availability yet.
