Archos has upgraded its Archos 9 Tablet with a better CPU. This Windows 7-powered tablet uses a faster 1.2GHz Atom Z510 instead of the 1.1GHz Atom Z510 CPU used in current models. Motherboard manufacturer Gigabyte has unveiled a spanking new tablet netbook namely the Gigabyte T1000. The new model features a 10.1-inch 1,366 x 768 HD touchscreen display, a choice of Intel Atom N450 or N470 processor, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and a 1.3-megapixel camera. FCC Approves Dell Mini 5 Android Tablet

FCC has finally approved the Android-powered Dell Mini 5 tablet. The gadget sports Wi-Fi, HSPA connectivity (which is compatible with AT&T, Rogers, Telus and Bell).
