Lenovo Recalls Selected ThinkPad Batteries

If you are an owner of the ThinkPad T60, T61, R60, R61, X60 and X61 laptop series, you should contact the local Lenovo head office for safety reason. Lenovo has already issued battery recalls of these ThinkPad models, which could possibly result in “irreparable damage” or “battery cannot be charged” error messages. A battery diagnostic tool is also available on the company’s site to check whether a user’s power pack is affected and, if so, if they are eligible for a free replacement. [SlashGear]
