Lenovo has introduced a pair of environmentally-friendly laptops from the ThinkPad L series. Powered by either Intel Core i3 or i5 processors with Turbo Boost and hyper-threading technology, the Lenovo ThinkPad L412 and ThinkPad L512 features a LED back-lit, anti-glare HD displays (1366 x 768 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio), an Intel Integrated or ATI Mobility Radeon graphics, up to 8GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM, up to 500GB 5400RPM hard drive, 3G/4G wireless connectivity, Gobi 2000 module support for AT&T, Sprint and Verizon, a built-in webcam (1600 x 1200 resolution), a 7-in-1 card reader, DisplayPort, and a spill-resistant keyboard. Its battery provides up to 8-hour of operation time. Available starting in mid-May, pricing for the ThinkPads L412 and L512 will start at $649 a pop.
